Privacy policy.
Which data we process, why, with which providers, and what your rights are.
Last updated: 21 October 2026. This policy explains which personal data Websituation processes when you visit this site or contact us, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Controller
Websituation (Magali Tshikudi Kabondo), Cologny (Geneva), Switzerland. Contact: contact@websituation.ch.
Data processed and purposes
- Contact form: name, e-mail address, phone (optional), services or plan of interest and message, to answer your request. The form sends your message to a function hosted by Vercel, which forwards it to Websituation through the Resend e-mail service and sends you a confirmation e-mail. A hidden anti-spam field is only used to filter out automated submissions: it collects no data. If sending fails, the site offers to let you write from your own e-mail client: the message is then sent from your own e-mail account;
- Messages and calls: the information you give us by e-mail or phone, to handle your request and follow the project;
- Technical data: like any site, the hosting server may temporarily record the IP address, date and pages viewed, for security and proper operation.
Providers and processors
- Vercel Inc. (United States): hosting of the site and execution of the function that handles the form. The infrastructure is distributed worldwide, mainly in the United States;
- Resend (United States): sending of the form e-mails (notification to Websituation and confirmation e-mail to the person writing). Resend processes the name, e-mail address and content of the message;
- Infomaniak (Switzerland): professional mailbox contact@websituation.ch, which receives the requests.
Transfers abroad
Vercel and Resend are based in the United States and may process data outside Switzerland. These transfers are covered by contractual safeguards recognised by the FADP (for example these providers' standard contractual clauses). Your data is neither sold nor passed on for advertising.
Cookies and analytics tools
This site does not use advertising tracking cookies. Fonts are hosted on the site: no data is sent to an external font service. If an audience-measurement tool is added (for example Google Analytics), this policy will be updated and you will be able to object.
Retention
Requests received through the form, by e-mail or by phone are kept for up to 24 months after the last exchange when no project follows. When a project is commissioned, they are kept for the duration of the business relationship, then for the legal retention period for business records. Technical providers may keep sending logs for a limited time, as set by their own terms.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, object to its processing or ask for its transfer, by writing to contact@websituation.ch. We reply in principle within 30 days. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the form is validated on the server and we limit access to data to what is strictly necessary.
